Job Description
The Plant Maintenance Technician will work on various types of process equipment, piping, and controls. With minimal supervision, you will repair, test, adjust, or install mechanical equipment, such as pumps, blowers, compressors, piping systems, gauges, and various types of process equipment commonly used in the water and air pollution control industry. You will also be responsible for electrical troubleshooting, pipe fitting, and assembly, particularly with PVC. Additionally, you will install or replace meters, regulators, or related measuring or control devices under supervision, maintain repair records, and adhere to safety procedures and programs.

Work Environment
You will be working in an industrial water treatment plant. The position is for the 1st shift, which runs from 6am to 2:30pm. The role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires physical activities such as lifting materials up to and in excess of 50 pounds, reaching overhead, bending at the waist, kneeling, or lying down. Vision abilities such as close and color vision are also required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
