JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices.
* Implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
* Rotating hardware concepts.
* Responsible for CAD Modeling.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
* 3+ years of experience required.
* 5-10 years of experience preferred.
* Advanced ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.
* Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
* Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) and CREO
* Lamination steel and wire winding design
* Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
* Team player and detail oriented, willing to collaborate with others on design
* Displays attributes of a critical thinker and leverages innovative ideas.
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience with Hydraulic circuit design
* Experience with GD&T tolerancing
* Experience with setting up loads, physics based background in CFD and FEA with ProMechanica
* Background with electric motor design is nice to have
