Our Fortune 500 client, a leading player in the consumer electronics industry, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer 5 to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer 5, you will be part of the Mechanical Engineering team supporting the design and development of gaming hardware. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Mechanical Engineer 5 **Location:** Redmond, WA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) **Pay Range:** $65 - $70/hr **What's the Job?** + Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical devices. + Provide guidance to external resources and review their work to ensure quality and alignment. + Attend and lead cross-functional meetings to foster effective collaboration. + Own and lead subsystems for the Mechanical Engineering team. + Conduct CAD design and review within the Mechanical Engineering team. **What's Needed?** + 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design of assemblies and components. + 10+ years of experience with 3D CAD modeling, preferably in CREO. + 5+ years of experience in the design of electronic hardware. + A bachelor's degree in engineering is required. + Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and a 'Can Do' attitude. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a highly collaborative engineering environment. + Visibility to high-volume consumer products that delight Xbox fans. + Learning opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. + Growth potential as an engineering leader within a dynamic team. + Chance for extension beyond the initial contract period.
