Design, manage, and lead mechanical engineering projects using Revit and AutoCAD with a focus on commercial, healthcare, institutional, and industrial properties.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university or equivalent
5 to 7 years of mechanical engineering experience in the A/E industry
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with Primavera or Microsoft Project
Experience managing and leading a mechanical design team
Ability to resolve construction site issues and attend site meetings
Strong understanding of the construction process and constructability concerns
Knowledge and application of mechanical codes and standards
Documented design experience in commercial, healthcare, institutional, educational, municipal, and industrial sectors
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency with discipline-specific analysis software tools
Ability to perform quality assurance and quality control tasks
Ability to recruit and mentor junior staff
Job Responsibilities:
Deliver accurate and code-compliant mechanical designs within budget and schedule
Prepare and supervise the creation of mechanical contract documents
Conduct mechanical technical studies and produce detailed reports
Review internal and external designs for compliance, quality, and constructability
Perform site inspections during the construction phase
Provide design leadership and maintain adherence to industry standards
Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
