Summary:

Our client is looking for a Mechanical Engineer for their laboratory automation space.

Responsibilities:

Working on designs, calculations, builds, and testing of various hardware components. Researching products online, provide CAD drawings and write technical documents (assembly instructions, bill of materials, machine shop prints, and presentations) Assist in assembling prototypes, running tests, participate in design reviews. Individual will be working with other engineers, maintenance teams, scientists, machine shop, carpenters, electricians, technicians, and vendors. Must be able to work with other engineers and researchers both locally and remotely.

Desires:

Working knowledge of safety and project management Fabrication print best practices, 3D printing Experience in necessary hand tools within industry.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience with CAD, SolidWorks and PDM.
