The Mechanical Engineer's responsibilities will be reviewing production schedules, engineering specifications, and processing flows and other information to understand the methods and activities of manufacturing and services

\r\n

\r\n

As a Mechanical Engineer you will :

\r\n\r\nIdentify unsafe operations and practices and report the same to the Manager immediately.\r\nProvide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.\r\nPerform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages.\r\nEvaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.\r\nImplement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.\r\nDevelop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities.\r\nProvides training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals.\r\nStay current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes.\r\nDevelop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.\r\nMaintain all ME related stations and tools regularly\r\nPlace new tools and jigs on production lines on time\r\nRepair the bad tools or jigs from production lines and return ASAP\r\nReport tools and jigs failure analysis and solution\r\nMake up purchase plan about tools and jigs spare parts.\r\nAlways keep the work in safety condition and follow the safety rules.\r\nAssess machinery compliance with UL safety standards and upgrade machineries as required\r\nComply with company and customer safety guidelines, regulations, policies and procedures.\r\nME should be able to work all shifts flexibly when job demands.\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\nBachelor of Science in Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or similar engineering discipline).\r\nAbility to effectively present information, respond to questions from groups or managers.\r\nAbility to provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to attain and maintain state of the art knowledge of all technology product and industry trends.\r\nAbility to investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive resolutions.\r\n\r\n\r\nStrong listening, oral and written communication skills, ability to motivate.\r\nAble to plan, direct and delegate work to others.\r\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills as well as administrative management skills.\r\nAbility to develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.\r\nAble to use hand and power tools, lift up to 30 lbs.\r\nWorking Knowledge in Manufacturing Processes Validations, Equipment Inspection, root cause analysis and statistical process control principles,\r\nDesigning fixtures/Jigs using professional designing software (Desirable)\r\nWorking Knowledge in DOE Design of Experiments and NPI New Product Introductions (Desirable)\r\nFamiliar with OSHA and ESD requirements (Desirable)\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $26-$28/ per hour

\r\n
