Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

The main functions of the position will be:

- Create motor performance simulations for new applications to support the sales process.

- Create mechanical & electrical assembly drawings of new configurations to be delivered by sales as new application proposals.

- Perform analytical calculations to verify safe compliance of actuators to customer application, including FEA, bearing stresses, and electrical power.

- Manage new product programs from design through shipment, monitoring and improving schedules throughout the plant.

- Design, write, and perform advanced testing of gear motors for qualification campaigns.

- Assist in basic assembly activities when needed by the manufacturing group.

- Sort through customer & specification requirements: Work directly with customers and then with the development team to maintain goals & timelines.

- Develop solutions from existing product lines or create game plans around new development to meet requirements.

- Operate and own testing campaigns.
