Job Responsibilities: + Perform site investigations and site visits. + Prepare calculations, drawings, and design specifications, detailing the layout and materials for all mechanical requirements/systems including site utility requirements (natural gas, water, sewer, etc.) and building mechanical/plumbing requirements/systems. + Design and prepare deliverable drawings for the mechanical systems. + Prepare the required calculations for systems, prepare specifications, requisitions, and bid analysis/purchase orders for the materials covered on the drawings. + Coordinate and provide input with the architect, structural engineer, electrical engineer, and civil engineer to provide a fully coordinated design package. Qualifications: + 3-5 years of experience with plumbing, HVAC, or aviation projects + Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering + Proficiency in Revit + EIT or PE from the State of California preferred + Experience with site visits and field work + Ability to review calculations, drawings, and specifications and provide meaningful comments About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
