Mechanical Engineer
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Job Description Perform site investigations, prepare calculations, drawings, and design specifications. Detail the layout and materials for all mechanical requirements/systems, including site utility requirements (natural gas, water, sewer, etc.) and building mechanical/plumbing requirements/systems. Design and prepare deliverable drawings for the mechanical systems and perform the required calculations. Prepare specifications, requisitions, and bid analysis/purchase orders for the materials covered on the drawings. Coordinate and provide input with the architect, structural engineer, electrical engineer, and civil engineer to provide a fully coordinated design package. Hard Skills + 3-5 years of relevant experience + BS Mechanical Engineering degree + EIT from the State of California + Experience with Public Projects + Estimating + Perform constructability review of drawings + Coordinating with consultants and contractors + On-site, field experience + Ability to review calculations, drawings, and specifications and provide meaningful comments + Construction Administration Services Experience Soft Skills + Good verbal & written communication skills Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s). Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Sacramento, California. Work Environment This will be a hybrid environment. Remote work is possible after 90 days for the right person who can get the work done.
