Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, implement, and troubleshoot mechanical systems and subsystems.

Job Requirements:

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from ABET certified institution

5 to 10 years of experience with mechanical design

3+ years of experience with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD modeling systems

Strong knowledge of structural design principles

Preferred Skills:

Experience with SolidWorks Simulation

Practical knowledge of machinery product design, verification, and validation processes

Job Responsibilities:

Design and implement new mechanical systems according to specifications

Develop product requirements, specifications, and schedules

Conduct feasibility studies for functionality and reliability

Troubleshoot designs with cross-functional team members

Collaborate with project management on scheduling and design improvements

Evaluate and recommend design changes when necessary

Conduct product design, verification, and validation to meet milestones

Maintain detailed documentation throughout the design process

Lead technical design reviews

Create detailed drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks

Perform structural analysis using SolidWorks Simulation

Prepare specifications, data sheets, and drawings as needed

Review vendor proposals and drawings

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
