Performs utility and building mechanical system and equipment infrastructure assessments and oversees the design and replacementupgrade of mechanical equipment and systems Performs project management responsibilities for mechanical system upgrade efforts Evaluates the operation of the central plants and utility systems and makes suggestions for improvements Plans and coordinates utility outages in support of maintenance amp repair and acts as primary liaison with campus projects that interact with existing utilities andor incorporate new utilitiesProvides analysis design and construction support for the Energy Management amp Utilities team Engineering amp Energy EampE unit other FM units and independent college projects and construction activities as they affect campus mechanical utilities Assures that project goals include the improvement of utility system reliability and efficiency
