Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Design and develop mechanical components for robotic system applications, focusing on performance, cost, and reliability. Coordinate specifications and design requirements with team members, mechanical engineers, electrical/electronics, software engineers, and manufacturing. Support the preparation of engineering scope, plans, and estimates. Contribute to the preparation of program plans including task definitions, time frames, risk assessment, and manpower requirements. Assist in all aspects of the engineering effort, including design, prototype fabrication, qualification testing, data preparation, and release of production configuration. Monitor and control multiple component designs during system integration, development, testing, and production against performance, budget, and schedule. Ensure designs adhere to accepted design criteria or precedents and verify the adequacy of analyses supporting designs.
