Mechanical Engineer- Frankfurt 

To €75,000 DOE + Package 

Our client is an established main contractor working across Europe specialising in the delivery of construction and engineering projects on behalf of global blue-chip clients. They offer a full turnkey service for their clients from design, construction, and handover across the full range of CSA (civil, structural, architectural), MEP (mechanical and electrical) and commissioning works.          

The need now exists for a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components to meet project and industry standards.  

Key Responsibilities & Requirements: 

Analyse project requirements and specifications to determine the scope of the project and develop a detailed mechanical system. 

Emphasise health & safety policies in site & procedures, conduct regular safety inspection, risk assessment, and provide training as needed.  

Assist in the planning and execution of tests to verify design functionality, reliability, and adherence to safety standards. 

Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to develop timelines, budgets, and resource allocations including design integration and alignment. 

Develop and implement testing protocols to evaluate and validate mechanical systems and components. 

Continuously evaluate existing processes and systems for potential improvements in efficiency, performance, and cost. 

Prepare detailed weekly mechanical engineering reports, including design changes, testing results, and performance metrics. 

Degree/qualifications in Mechanical Engineering. 

5+ years of experience as Mechanical Engineer within construction, with mechanical/electrical/pipework contractors. 

Background in modularisation is desirable. 

Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and develop efficient solutions. 

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information clearly. 

Proficiency in Microsoft products and relevant software and tools.
