Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will perform audits in various areas, including full system, supply side, and demand side. You will be responsible for training in-house JHF classes for our customers and sales team, ensuring clear and concise information handoffs to various stakeholders to facilitate smooth project processing. You will follow established processes and procedures, collaborate with local sales teams, and work towards becoming an expert in compressed air systems.
ResponsibilitiesPerform audits in full system, supply side, and demand side.Conduct in-house JHF training classes for customers and sales team.Hand off information to sales, customers, service, contractors, and controls group in a clear and concise manner to eliminate rework.Follow processes and procedures established by the ROI Manager to complete audits, hand-offs, and projects.Team up with local sales personnel to assist in quoting and closing audits/projects.Work towards becoming an expert in compressed air systems.Respond to internal and external requests regarding audits, air systems, and projects.Research and compare competitors to maintain market awareness and keep the salesforce/ROI group informed.Participate in ongoing training related to controls, assessments, and air compressor performance.Actively participate in ROI business meetings.Perform audits and special projects on time and according to customer specifications.Maintain organized, efficient, and quality work by documenting, communicating, and verifying needs and information.Collaborate with team members and departments to ensure an excellent customer experience.Essential SkillsMechanical or Electrical degree (Associates acceptable)Experience with compressed air systemsProficiency in ExcelMechanical engineering skillsProficiency in CADExperience with PowerPoint presentationsExperience with VizioAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with compressed air systems is beneficial.In-depth experience with Excel.CAD experience is a plus.Work Environment
The role involves approximately 50% travel, mostly within the greater STL area, often not requiring overnight stays. You will receive a corporate card for all expenses and a company car.
