Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

Actively seeking a mechanical engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience working closely with mechanical systems. This individual will be responsible for the design and validation of crucial systems including boilers, chillers, piping systems, and many other facilities related equipment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee mechanical systems, including chillers, cooling towers, supply distribution piping and pumps, air compressors and dryers, air-handlers, make-up air units, VFDs, boilers, exhaust fans, heat exchangers.Lead projects in design for piping, mechanical components, valve sizing, and other 3D drawings.Oversee capital projects that include design reviews, cost estimates, design and installation specifications.Provide on-site supervision and technical support during emergency maintenance events 24/7.

Essential Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering5 years of relevant experienceProficiency in mechanical systems design (chillers, cooling towers, pumps, boilers, HVAC, etc.)Strong design skills in mechanical systemsProficiency in SolidWorksKnowledge of piping design and engineering
