Job Title: Combustion Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in gas appliance design, testing, and combustion engineering. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and developing combustion systems and products, including appliances, grills, boilers, burners, and tankless equipment. This role involves working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure the successful implementation of product designs.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop combustion systems and products, ensuring compliance with combustion rules and regulations.Act as a lead mentor to the engineering design team, guiding projects from initial concept through successful completion.Participate in Project Identification meetings with marketing and management to define project specifications and scope.Develop systems and documentation to ensure products and services meet all contractual and program quality requirements.Conduct project meetings and prepare reports to communicate project status to the team and beyond.Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.5+ years of related work experience in gas appliance design, testing, or combustion engineering.Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical reports.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience designing and engineering appliances, grills, boilers, burners, and tankless equipment.Understanding of combustion systems and product development.Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, involving close interaction with both the engineering and manufacturing teams. The role requires proficiency with various computer-aided engineering tools and software. The position may involve occasional travel to meet with clients or attend industry conferences. The dress code is business casual.
