Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will spend 60-70% of your time working with SolidWorks to design and create 3D drawings. The remaining 30-40% will be dedicated to design reviews, documentation, and reporting. You will collaborate closely with production and manufacturing teams, providing feedback and ensuring design compliance.

ResponsibilitiesCreate and modify 3D drawings using SolidWorks.Conduct design reviews and ensure adherence to industry regulations and codes (e.g., FAA, C Codes, ISO, FDA).Document and report design processes and outcomes.Collaborate with production and manufacturing teams to provide feedback and ensure design compliance.Perform tolerance analysis and stack-up.Engage in design for manufacturability efforts.Essential SkillsProficiency in SolidWorks for creating 3D drawings.Experience with Windchill or other PDM tools.Familiarity with tolerance analysis and stack-up.3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering.Experience with verification and validation processes.Ability to articulate and describe technical concepts of drawings.Additional Skills & QualificationsCreative in conceptualizing drawings, not just following directions.Demonstrated experience in adhering to industry regulations and codes (e.g., FAA, C Codes, ISO, FDA).Work Environment
