Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in gas distribution projects, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS for a hybrid role.

Job Requirements:

Engineering degree required

Minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS, BlueBeam

Experience with STORMS / Maximo or other work management software preferred

NY State Engineering License preferred

Preferred Skills:

Experience in gas utility engineering

Familiarity with Maximo or related software

Job Responsibilities:

Provide engineering design and analysis for gas distribution projects

Prepare general layout and final construction drawings

Collaborate with operations, project sponsors, and union design/drafting staff

Coordinate technical communication with permitting municipalities and service providers

Prepare assembly and detail designs of mechanical and structural projects

Design dimensional details to avoid equipment interference

Prepare bill of materials for construction projects

 

 Pay: 42-57

Pay Details: $42.00 to $57.00 per hour
