Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Job Description We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in the development, design, and testing of novel airway sensing technology. This position requires expertise in mechanical engineering, flow analysis, and sensing technologies. Responsibilities + Aid in the development, design, and testing of novel airway sensing technology. + Perform flow analysis and sensing. + Utilize NDIR for CO2 monitoring, ultrasonics for flow monitoring, and MEMS-based pressure sensing for airway pressure. Essential Skills + 10 years of Mechanical Engineering experience + Proficiency in NDIR for CO2 monitoring + Experience with ultrasonics for flow monitoring + Knowledge of MEMS-based pressure sensing + Strong design and development skills Additional Skills & Qualifications + Background in mechanical design and new product development + Experience in the medical device industry Work Environment This is a remote position, but you must be able to travel to Seattle once a month for several days at a time. The role offers 2 weeks of PTO and 6 paid holidays.
