Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to function as a Project Lead Technical Engineer and/or Project Manager on assignments with mechanical/HVAC design scope and other disciplines. The ideal candidate will identify needed project resources, work with Corporate Discipline Leads to assign team members, and act as a liaison between clients and the company, keeping both appropriately informed of project status. This role also involves assisting with the development of mechanical staff and supervising the work of other staff when assigned.
ResponsibilitiesFunction as Project Lead Technical Engineer and/or Project Manager on assignments with mechanical/HVAC design scope and other disciplines.Identify needed project resources and work with Corporate Discipline Leads to assign team members.Act as client/Company liaison, keeping both appropriately informed of project status.Assist with the development of mechanical staff.Supervise the work of other staff when assigned.Consult and coordinate with senior management members at regularly scheduled meetings to review the status of active and future projects.Ensure coordinated design on projects with Mechanical and other disciplines.Ensure all procedures and steps are in accordance with Company standards.Create and review mechanical/HVAC drawings and technical specifications.Contribute to estimation of projects, planning, and construction feasibility.Provide advisory information during the construction phase.Perform site surveys and contribute to engineering studies.Attend and contribute to office, client, and project meetings.Participate in monitoring of project production and schedules to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.Ensure the quality of the work produced maintains company and industry standards.Perform engineering studies.Perform technical and coordination check-review of project documentation and drawings.Follow up on issues with design and production staff to resolve problems and concerns.Essential SkillsMechanical engineeringAutoCADRevitProfessional Engineer (PE) certificationProject managementMechanical/HVAC designAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical/HVAC EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) certificationWork Environment
The office is located in Braintree, MA. Employees are expected to work in the office Monday through Thursday, with work until 2:30 PM on Fridays.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $145000.00 - $170000.00
