Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer with experience in HVAC systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting, designing, and selecting systems for buildings. This role requires expertise in load calculations for HVAC systems, boiler sizing, and equipment sizing. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, and experience with Revit is a plus. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you will be involved in various aspects of projects and have the opportunity to wear multiple hats.

ResponsibilitiesDraft and design HVAC systems for commercial buildings.Perform load calculations for HVAC systems.Size boilers and equipment for HVAC systems.Select appropriate systems for buildings.Ensure compliance with U.S. building codes.Collaborate with team members on various projects.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.3-5 years of experience within HVAC systems in commercial buildings.Proficiency in AutoCAD.Knowledge of U.S. building codes.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Revit.Strong mechanical design skills.Work Environment

Our team operates from two locations: Muskegon and Traverse City. While we prefer in-office work five days a week, we offer flexibility as you prove your capabilities. The smaller firm environment means you will have the opportunity to be deeply involved in projects and take on various roles.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00
