Mechanical Engineer Opportunity!

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing HVAC equipment using AutoCAD, creating post-approval amendment drawings, performing load calculations, and documenting existing site conditions. This role also involves reviewing contractor submittals, evaluating building energy performance, and conducting site surveys.

ResponsibilitiesDesign HVAC equipment utilizing AutoCAD.Create post-approval amendment drawings.Perform load calculations (Carrier – HAP preferred, TRANE TRACE acceptable).Upload drawings to DOB now.Conduct site surveys and document existing conditions.Review contractor submittals and shop drawings.Evaluate building energy performance through on-site field measurements and energy analysis methods.Calculate cooling and heating loads, size ducts, select equipment, write specifications, and estimate costs.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD and mechanical markups.3-5 years of mechanical design experience.HVAC design experience within commercial interior fit-outs and outpatient medical facilities.Mechanical engineering and HVAC engineering expertise.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Revit is a plus.Project management experience is a plus.Professional Engineer certification is a plus.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00
