Mechanical Site Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Site Engineer with rotating equipment experience to join an exciting pharmaceutical project in Denmark. The position is a contract role, 5 days a week on site in Kalundborg, Denmark. 
 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage teams of Mechanical technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules and budgets. Oversee all aspects of mechanical construction, including installation, fabrication, testing, and commissioning. Interpret and execute complex engineering drawings and specifications. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Identify and proactively resolve technical issues and ensure timely correction. Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed. Collaborate effectively with other departments including engineers, surveyors, and project managers. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements. Provide technical guidance and support to construction personnel and subcontractors.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. (preferred not essential) Minimum 10 years of experience in piping engineering within the pharmaceutical or related industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
