We're seeking two talented and self-motivated Product Design Engineers to drive the development of our new product line. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating cutting-edge designs that integrate cameras and sensors, with a focus on thermal management and optics. ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop innovative products from concept to prototype, with a focus on camera-focused and sensor-focused solutions.Utilize your expertise in product design, SolidWorks, and thermal simulations to create robust and efficient designs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and software components.Develop and manage design requirements, ensuring that products meet or exceed performance and quality standards.Conduct testing, root cause analysis, and tolerance stack-ups to validate design assumptions.Work independently to drive projects forward, with minimal supervision.Essential SkillsMechanical engineeringMechanical designProduct design experience with a focus on design for manufacturingProficiency in SolidWorksExperience in stack-ups and thermal simulationsTesting, problem-solving, and root cause analysisAdditional Skills & QualificationsMid-career professional with 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably with a focus on cameras and sensors.Proficiency in Ansys, with a strong understanding of thermal simulations and tolerance stack-ups.Strong understanding of production design principles, including design for manufacturability and assembly.Familiarity with optics design and machine vision is a plus.Work Environment
You will work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced technologies and equipment such as SolidWorks and Ansys. The role requires a high level of independence and creativity, with minimal supervision. Dress code is business casual.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00
