Mechanical Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in engineering design and consulting for the energy sector.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field

At least 10 years of engineering design and/or consulting experience

Professional Engineering licensure (any US state)

Experience with business growth strategy and new project opportunities

Knowledge of proposal development and project execution planning

Availability to travel as required (typically less than 50%)

Availability to work at least 2 days per week in the Cary, NC office

Preferred Skills:

Prior management experience

Responsibilities:

Mentor/manage junior and mid-level mechanical engineering staff

Formulate strategies, develop business, and expand energy transition portfolio

Engage with clients to evaluate needs and develop detailed design solutions

Lead a mechanical engineering team for advisory services and design solutions

Collaborate with Client Account Managers and sales professionals on strategic pursuits



Pay Details: $49.00 to $66.00 per hour
