\t\t\t\t\tThe NPD Engineer is responsible for multiple projects driving profitable growth. Projects will vary depending on size and scope, requiring flexibility and tailored project management solutions. This role will include direct interaction with a broad range of internal senior, technical and functional leadership as well as our customers’ teams, to include Departments of Transportation, Specifying Engineers, Cities, Counties, and Municipalities.Responsible for day-to-day project management of new products, APL’s, QPL’s and specified products, as well as communication with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure successful project execution is metEnsure that projects are on schedule, on scope and on budgetLead project teams to ensure the quality of project deliverables match the business strategyIdentify risks (cost, schedule) to project deliverables, clearly communicate those risks to stakeholders and develop plans to minimize those risksEngage with sales team for product and market requirementsCollaborate with manufacturing to ensure equipment is reliable and meets quality and cost targets. This activity includes design for manufacturability for new products as well as engagement with Methods, Design Drafting, Manufacturing Engineering, and Professional EngineeringComplete design analysis, driving standardization and efficiency into the product development processSupport transition of design concepts, detailed design and product release information to manufacturing partners internal or externalProvide ongoing technical/engineering influence with manufacturing partners internal and external

\t\t\t\t\tPreferred candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering 3-5 Years of experience of new product development or mechanical engineering within a manufacturing setting3-5 Years of experience in Mechanical Design (SolidWorks Preferred) A strong understanding of project management principles and software tools; PMP certification is a plusLooking for a doer and a strong soft skills candidate

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $88000.00 - $110000.00
