Description
Seeking skilled Mechanical Engineers across 2 disciplines (Propulsion & Structures) for the NEW Jackal Program. This multifunctional missile delivers modularity with lethal and non-lethal payloads. Jackal offers surface, air, and maritime launch solutions. They are autonomous and can be used for different applications (electronic warfare, (ISR) - intelligence, surveillance and recon AND advanced warheads).
Propulsion Systems
Small aircraft missile powered by a turbine engine, this candidate will be assisting in getting the entire fuel system/fuel tank working for the missile.Fuel system design.Fluid handing components (pressure, regulators, flow).Experience within with check valves and fittings (hydraulics experience would apply to this).Experience working with Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)/Aircraft/Missile Systems.Must have a minimum of 5 years experience within UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems)/Aircraft/Missile Systems
Airframe/Structure
Experience with the airframe and systems design (taking from concept through completion, design and build).Experience with CREO for component design.Understanding GD&T.Strong Mechanical Engineering design skills.Experience working with Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)/Aircraft/Missile Systems.Must have a minimum of 5 years experience within UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems)/Aviation/Missile Systems

Pro-E/CREOMechanical DesignSheet metalGD&TAdditional Skills & Qualifications
Must have experience in large structures and large assembly design and modeling, preferably from Military / DOD space.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00
