Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will solve complex problems through design, analysis, and documentation. You will work closely with our sales and manufacturing teams to develop solutions to customer problems and ensure that your designs are manufacturable. This position offers the unique opportunity to see your creations come to life every step of the way.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop solutions to customer problems and ensure manufacturability of designs.Prove designs are robust enough to withstand the rigors of various industries, including construction, rigging, mining, and offshore, using Finite Element Analysis and calculations.Participate in a peer review team to ensure the production of best-in-class solutions.Use SolidWorks software to engineer and detail designs, PDM software to maintain documentation and records, and ERP software to define how each component and assembly is made.Contribute to a manufacturing support team by troubleshooting production concerns and supporting continuous improvements and corrective actions through Engineering Change Notices.Expand engineering’s knowledge base and team growth by participating in training sessions and mentoring less experienced personnel.Essential SkillsProficiency in SolidWorks design software.Expertise in Finite Element Analysis using SolidWorks Simulation.Proficiency in PTC Mathcad and Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of metal manufacturing processes such as welding, machining, and heat treatment.Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field (Mechanical Engineering).At least 3 years of SolidWorks design experience.Experience working in a metal manufacturing industry.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47.00 - $55.00
