Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in mechanical engineering, with expertise in various analysis techniques and design principles. This role involves working on large structures with field installation.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure points and develop mitigation strategies.Perform tolerance analysis to ensure components fit and function correctly within assemblies.Carry out fatigue and strength analysis to assess the durability and reliability of mechanical components.Track project budgets and ensure financial objectives are met.Design weldments and ensure structural integrity and manufacturability.Manage Requests for Information (RFI) to and from outside vendors.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Proven experience in FMEA, tolerance analysis, fatigue analysis, and strength analysis.Proficiency in hand calculationsExperience with budget tracking.Expertise in weldment designExperience managing RFIs.Experience with large structures and field installations in industries such as conveyor systems, heavy trucks, automotive, robotics, aircraft, marine, and autonomous vehicles.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Experience with CAD software and simulation tools.Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.Project management experience and experience mentoring other engineers

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $100.00
