Mechanical Engineer
Description -Design and development of prototypes, material specifications, and production tooling. -Substantial hands-on work and interface with factory employees. -Creation of test plans, conducting tests, and preparing test reports to show compliance to government standards. (PMA, TSO, DER Repairs) -Preparation of design documentation including detail and assembly drawings, work instructions, and inspection requirements. -Sourcing of new components and materials from vendors. -Writing operating manuals, owner’s manuals, and product labeling. -Provide technical support through sales department and directly to customers. -Draw sketches to illustrate specified materials or assembly sequence. -Have and utilize good working knowledge of PC skills as necessary to obtain, utilize, plan, reconstruct, evaluate, organize, review, and maintain the necessary records and documentation within the assigned areas. -Promote and maintain safe, clean, and organized work area. -Participate in decisions relating to all accountable areas, productivity, quality, safety, maintenance as required, processes & systems.
