Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of engineering design experience in a high-volume production and product development environment, focusing on consumer products or appliances.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop engineering solutions for high-volume manufactured parts and components.Create and validate CAD models and drawings, with a preference for SolidWorks.Read and interpret blueprints to ensure the accuracy and functionality of mechanical designs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition suppliers and bring new pieces to operation.Lead projects with minimal management direction, ensuring project goals and timelines are met.Utilize engineering tools such as FMEAs, DOE, DVP&R, RCCM, PLM, Risk Analysis, and Statistics for product improvement processes.Essential SkillsProficiency in CAD modeling and drawing creation, with SolidWorks preferred.Strong understanding of high-volume manufacturing processes for parts and components.Ability to read and validate blueprints.Experience in leading projects with minimal management direction.Proficiency in using engineering tools like FMEAs, DOE, DVP&R, RCCM, PLM, and Risk Analysis.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with castings, machined metal parts, and injection molded components.Work Environment
This position is on-site, offering a collaborative and dynamic work environment where you will work closely with cross-functional teams to address and solve water challenges. Dress code and other specifics will be discussed during the interview process.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00/hr.
