Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to design and execute mechanical designs for complex equipment. This role involves performing analysis to validate design concepts and creating machine parts and assemblies using SolidWorks, SolidWorks PDM, and an ERP system. The successful candidate will prepare assemblies and drawings utilizing GD&T.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute mechanical designs for vacuum deposition systems and subsystems.Perform analysis as necessary to validate design concepts.Design machine parts and assemblies using SolidWorks, SolidWorks PDM, and an ERP system.Prepare assembly and drawings utilizing GD&T.Essential Skills4-6+ years as a mechanical engineer.Proficiency in machine or complex metal design. Expertise in SolidWorks.Experience in sheet metal design.Knowledge of GD&T.Familiarity with thin film technology.Competence in finite element analysis (FEA).Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
