Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves a diverse set of responsibilities, including supporting Solidworks design, communicating with suppliers, and documenting processes and bills of materials (BOM). The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of project scope and be able to follow projects from inception to completion.

ResponsibilitiesSupport Solidworks design for various projectsCommunicate effectively with suppliers to ensure project requirements are metDocument processes and create bills of materials (BOM)Provide on-time design, development, and release of drawings and specifications for equipmentEnsure designs meet specifications and standardsVerify design calculations and check designs for accuracy and ease of serviceabilityResolve design problems as they ariseManage other engineers and drafters, assisting them during the design layout and detailing phaseMake decisions to accomplish responsibilities within company policies and budgetary restrictionsDevelop comprehensive sets of layout, assembly, and process drawingsAbility to travel up to 25% for project-based travelWork directly under the engineering manager and with project managersResponsible for team schedule and meeting deadlinesQualifications5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Project Engineer, or Structural EngineerBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (civil engineering degree will also be considered)Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and SolidworksExperience with Finite Elements Analysis (FEA)Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and WordExperience in large industrial design or process design (preferred), structural design, oil and gas, or design for construction equipmentUnderstanding of core engineering concepts including thermodynamics, kinematics, structural analysis, and electricityComfortable working in a multi-national and multi-cultural environmentStrong communication skills with team members and managementWell-organized with daily tasksCreative and able to develop new designs or improve existing onesCapable of creating and improving standards, drawing lists, and bills of materialsExperience with ductwork design, platform design, process schematics, and process calculations is a plusHaving worked for another EPC business in related industries is beneficialExperience with large equipment is essentialGood attitude and open-mindedness to learning new thingsAbility to speak several languages is a plusWork Environment

This position is fully in-person. The role supports brick and ceramics within an EPC company that handles engineering, commissioning, and sales. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $52.00/hr.
