Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Job Description

Assist in the design, manufacture, assembly, and/or evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices, machinery, and systems. Provide engineering support in design activities and/or modification of mechanical systems and assemblies. Release designs in accordance with company standards on time to meet customer and production demands.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in the design, manufacture, assembly, and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices, machinery, and systems.Provide engineering support in design activities and/or modification of mechanical systems and assemblies.Release designs in accordance with company standards on time to meet customer and production demands.Essential SkillsMechanical design experience.Sheet metal design experience.SolidWorks 3D modeling and drafting experience.Experience in production equipment design.Experience with mechanical engineering drawings and bill of materials (BOM).Ability to design and model parts and assemblies given basic conceptual information.Additional Skills & QualificationsBSME (Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering) with 2-5 years of experience.Experience with laser cutting.Familiarity with K-Factors (nice to have).C Channel design experience.Experience working with stainless steel.Work Environment

You will be the 11th member of the Change part team, joining a total of 40 engineers onsite. You will also have the opportunity to work with the accumulation team. The company has a significant presence in the food and beverage industry and is involved in community outreach programs such as Meals on Wheels and United Way.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
