The NPD

Supervisor plans and executes activities associated to New Product Development

including, but, not limited to;

development of rough order of magnitude pricing per request of Sales;post-induction development and execution of the RFQ/RFI in coordination with Engineering;down-selection of and negotiation with Suppliers;issuance of purchase orders and supporting documentation;monitor and ensure supplier delivery;coordination and lead for pre- and post-Product submittal meetings (Kick Off and Close Out);maintenance of communication log to facilitate project transparency; andexecution of all formal P.O. changes.

The NPD

Supervisor also:

Addresses complex sourcing issues where analysis of situations & data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable internal and external factors;Collaborates with stake holders to continually improve communications, delivery performance, and maintain quality requirements;Anticipates, researches, and reports on future items identified as possible NPD candidates and ensure such knowledge is factored into the planning of the department's own strategy for such item

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
