Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for new product development and design. This includes taking products from concept to completion, creating designs in SolidWorks, sourcing vendors and components, and interfacing with sales, production, and management.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and design new products from concept to completion.Create detailed designs using SolidWorks.Source vendors and components for product development.Interface with sales, production, and management teams.Conduct research and development for new product ideas.Ensure designs meet manufacturing and production requirements.Essential SkillsMechanical designProficiency in SolidWorksProduct developmentExperience in a manufacturing environmentBachelor's degree in Mechanical EngineeringAdditional Skills & Qualifications2-5 years of mechanical design experience2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, such as sheet metal or machinery/equipment manufacturingExperience with 3D modelingAbility to quickly learn SolidWorksExperience in sheet metal design, refrigeration, and HVAC is a plus#LIJobs Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
