This role will focus on critical tasking within the Deep Submergence Systems and Unmanned Undersea Vehicle Structures Knowledge Areas, contributing to the sustainment and advancement of undersea warfare capabilities. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.** **Responsibilities:** + Tasking may include but is not limited to review of DSS/UUV design work products, development of design guidance, review of historical design precedence, some performance of finite element analysis. + Candidate should be a problem solver with self-starter that is able to independently handle tasking with limited engagement from government lead. **Qualifications:** _Required:_ + The Ability to Obtain and Maintain a Secret Clearance + B.S. in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering + 5+ Years of Relevant Work Experience + 1-2 Years of Experience with Solidworks, Abaqus, NASTRAN, and/or MATLAB + Experience in FEA and Structural Analysis + 1-2 years of Experience Developing Design Guidance Based on Novel and Historical Precedents _Desired:_ + Active Secret Clearance + Experience in FEA and Structural Analysis on US Navy Undersea Vehicles This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
