Mechanical Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Maintenance Engineer with extensive experience in the U.S. Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program to manage design and build projects, equipment specifications, and training materials.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a science-related field Eight or more years of U.S. Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program experience Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Office 365 Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Skills:

Experience with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D modeling software Experience reviewing mechanical or electrical designs for compliance Experience conducting mechanical or electrical hardware inspections

Responsibilities:

Manage projects involving installation and removal of training equipment at U.S. Naval training sites Develop training materials and technical manuals Specify equipment for procurement through commercial suppliers Manage equipment configurations and inventories Conduct equipment test programs and supervise safety work

Pay Details: $42.00 to $57.00 per hour
