Mechanical Engineer Job Summary: Develop innovative mechanical designs from concept to production, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet industry standards and manufacturing requirements. Expertise in 3D CAD modeling, sheet metal design, and the ECN process is essential. Key Responsibilities: + Create concept designs and 3D CAD models. + Design sheet metal components and optimize fabrication processes. + Generate and maintain BOMs. + Implement design modifications through the ECN process. + Conduct design reviews and support cross-functional teams. + Ensure compliance with standards and regulations. + Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams. Qualifications: + 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in sheet metal fabrication. + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. + Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA). + Experience with GD&T and BOM management. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. + Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. + Exposure to DFM, DFA, and commercial refrigeration design. Work Environment: + Lift less than 20 pounds occasionally. + Stand and walk 2-4 hours per day. + Operate office equipment. + Work in climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled environments. + Monday – Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
