**Description** **SAIC** is seeking a **Mechanical Engineer Associate** to join our team supporting our DoD customers from our **Indianapolis, IN** location. The Mechanical Engineering Associate will be responsible for engineering aspects of production including obsolesce mitigation, verifying products to technical drawings and interfacing with the engineering team to provide support to established and developing production processes. **Qualifications** **REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering preferred. Will accept experience in lieu of a degree + Good written and oral communications + Strong abilities to use mechanical CAD packages (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD) + Use of common office desktop software + Must be a US Citizen SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
