Mechanical Engineer - CAD

JSG is hiring a Mechanical Engineer - CAD in Irvine, CA. Must have a BS degree and a US Citizen.
Pay rate: $50-$60 DOE
Job Duties: Designs mechanical equipment, systems and processes. Performs calculations and analyses to ensure suitability of design. Solves problems related to the assembly, repair and test of environmental control systems. Performs assignments which involve responsibility for a secondary project or a part of a major project. Defense or aerospace industry experience desired. Experience in the development of thermal systems is a strong plus. Experience with electrical circuits and control theory a plus. May give directions and/or guidance to junior level engineers, designers and drafters. Works with colleagues in the department and in other departments. Writes reports as required. Presents designs to peers, other engineers and customers. Understanding of military specifications, environmental specifications, and test specifications desired. Hands-on test and hardware experience is required. Requires strong oral/written communication skills and must be capable of conducting effective oral presentations to customers. Bachelor’s degree (B.S.M.E) from four-year College or University or equivalent. Minimum two years of experience with design, analysis and development of industrial equipment. Knowledge of applied thermodynamics and mechanical design. Knowledge of drawing and drafting standards a plus. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. CAD proficiency. Knowledge in analysis software is an advantage. #D800
