ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Evaluate information and analyze problems logically to develop solutions Attend company meetings to discuss work in progress, budget plans, business plans, and marketing plans on agreed-upon schedules Engineer retrofit, repair, and replacement mechanical projects Prepare engineered drawings, equipment selections and reports in a timely manner Maintain relationships with existing customers, while developing new relationships and work as a team player with the members of management and all project managers Develop relationships with customer’s organization which may include the facility manager, project managers, or purchasing agent Determine client needs and develop an engineered solution Maintain a sufficient knowledge of products and design criteria needed to adequately analyze and market the department’s services for related projects (Continuing Education) Follow up with project managers on the status of engineered work Identify problems on job site, gather information, and rectify Assist Service Technicians with job site problems Relay prospective solutions to clients and managers Encourage feedback from clients during and after job completion Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, executed Plans, and Programs.QUALIFICATIONS

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/ PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required for this position. Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5 years’ experience (College co-op programs are encouraged). Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred. Demonstrated working experience with HVAC systems, plumbing, piping system for design, estimating and sales Demonstrated professional engineering experience with retrofit, repair, and replacement mechanical projects Experience with preparing engineered drawings, equipment selections and reports in a timely manner Strong presentation skills, oral and written communication skills Ability to evaluate information and analyze problems logically to develop solutions Demonstrated working knowledge of HVAC system and equipment selection Proficiency with Bluebeam, Excel, Word & other Microsoft Office productsNotice to prospective employees: There have been fraudulent postings and emails regarding job openings.
