Mechanical Engineer (Construction) - 1 Year Contract
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (Construction) - 1 Year Contract Summary:The Mechanical Engineer (Construction) will be responsible for the Construction support for new project construction (Green field site), Steel Structure, Reactor, Vessel, Fabrication, Installation, piping, equipment and assist for overall project for Jasmine plant. Responsibilities Include: + Design/Review and make/verify engineering specification + Ensure designs meet industry standards, codes, and regulations + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design requirements + Prepare and review technical documentation and reports + Address any design-related issues and provide technical support during the construction phase + Supervising and coordinating the installation of Process Equipment, Utility equipment, piping and mechanical systems during the construction phase, ensuring all systems meet project requirements and standards + Overseeing contractors and ensuring all mechanical installations align with design specifications, project schedules, and quality standards. + Conducting on-site inspections to verify proper installation and function, addressing any construction or compliance issues. + Leading the commissioning of mechanical systems to validate their performance, reliability, and efficiency before going live + Conducting operational testing to ensure that equipment and related systems can sustain the required conditions for operations + Developing and implementing operational protocols to transition mechanical systems from the construction phase to ongoing operations + Developing and executing preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all mechanical systems, including HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, boiler and air compressor systems + Leading troubleshooting and diagnostics of mechanical issues, coordinating quick and effective repairs to minimize downtime + Maintaining comprehensive records of mechanical systems, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, commissioning documentation, and compliance certifications + Reporting regularly on system performance, maintenance activities, and energy consumption metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement + Ensuring all systems adhere to local codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for mechanical installations and maintenance + Implementing safety protocols for maintenance personnel and conducting regular safety training and audits Qualifications: The following are required for the role + Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related fields. + At least 5 years of experience working in related fields. + Skilled in reading design and construction drawings for all disciplines. + Experience in Structure design, Auto CAD Software, Construction supervision. + Team player spirit is mandatory. + Demonstrated oral and written communication skills in English, Thai + Experience in Design and construction plant would be advantage. + Strong interpersonal and Demonstrated leadership and teamwork capabilities. + Ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team and independently as required. + Dynamic, proactive, and autonomous. + The ability to create good relationships in a new environment and good communication skills.
