Mechanical Engineer for development in Healthcare

Siemens Healthineers in Slovakia develops and produces top-quality ultrasound devices. These innovative systems ensure precision and improve healthcare for patients worldwide.

We are looking for a professional mechanical engineer for development of healthcare products used in Ultrasound systems. You will be part of Hardware engineering team.  

 

Brief expectations:

5 years experience in the mechanical design, Design work for plastic, casting, sheet metal, AL-extrusion, Knowledge/understanding in Off-the shelf parts like fasteners, bearing…, Knowledge and experience in 2ndary operations such as painting and plating, Build and release 3D & 2D drawings for manufacturing in Siemens SCM or suppliers, Support trouble-shooting of mechanical parts in production phase if necessary, Collaborate with Industrial Designer to make the parts manufacturable, Professional experience with 3D CAD software tools (preferred Creo CAD SW knowledge), Explore new materials, new manufacturing methods, and its application to the product design, Provide design requirements and constraints to outside design vendors, Review the design by outside design vendors and give feedbacks to the vendors, English – B2 level, Communication skills and presentation skills, Ability to business travel to USA and South Korea.

 

Nice to have:

Understanding the FMEA, DFX, Six-Sigma, tolerance analysis and statistical quality control. Computer-Simulation (FEA) in structural / thermal / air-flow analysis.  Provide simulation requirements and constraints to outside simulation vendors for thermal/flow and structural analysis. Review the simulation results and give feedback to the vendors.

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards : 2100€ brutto/month + VAR*
