Job Title: Mechanical Engineer II Job Summary: The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving packaging machinery and systems. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of efficient and reliable packaging solutions. Key Responsibilities: + Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for packaging machinery. + Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks). + Conduct engineering analysis and simulations to validate design concepts. + Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to integrate mechanical designs with control systems. + Perform tolerance analysis and ensure designs meet industry standards and company specifications. + Support the prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs. + Provide technical support to manufacturing and service teams. + Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions. + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. + Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks). + Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes. + Experience with packaging machinery or similar industrial equipment is preferred. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. + Strong communication and organizational skills. + Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing setting.
