The Mechanical Engineer II for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for design changes and updates for the deployed Immunoassay instrument fleet.
This position is part of the Immunoassay R&D Engineering located in Chaska MN, and will be an On-site position. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Design solutions to complex mechanical problems
+ Work with cross-functional groups to accomplish design changes
+ Understand complicated electromechanical devices that handle diagnostic samples
+ Support a variety of diagnostic instruments during their life cycle
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years experience in a related field OR Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
+ Experience in a highly regulated industry
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Medical device development engineering
+ Skilled in the systems engineering approach
