Engineering Internship Program Offerings
Mechanical - Capital Engineering Intern:
Completing an assigned engineering project during the term of the internship Contributing to several ongoing capital engineering projects within the plant Experience with and exposure to supporting the Project Management Life Cycle, including: Preparation of project specifications and requirements Project schedule coordination and utilization of Project Management tools Installation oversight, project closing activities, and sustainability initiatives Valuable insight into large-scale manufacturing facilities, equipment, and safe working practices AutoCAD experience - updating existing drawings and creating new drawings Exposure to Conveying, combustion, fluid, and pneumatic transfer systems
Mechanical - Maintenance Engineering Intern:
Experience with and exposure to the primary components of Equipment Reliability, including: Asset management and process improvement Capital management and execution Contractor integration and management Development of machine maintenance best practices (PM, PdM, and more)

Outstanding interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset Capability to build and nurture relationships with other functions within Armstrong Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines A track record of leadership through work, school, or extra-curricular activities
Required Qualifications
Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) at an ABET accredited program AND be a maximum of 24 months away from graduation Minimum 3.0 GPA (cumulative, and within major)
