Mechanical Engineer - Joystick Competency Center

We're seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our diverse and experienced team in Nordborg. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our joysticks meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and customer satisfaction. Job Responsibilities

What you'll do:

Become the Joystick SME: You'll be the go-to expert for all things related to joystick mechanics, collaborating with teams across the business to solve problems and drive product improvements. Drive Product Excellence: Take ownership of product maintenance and improvement initiatives, implementing design modifications based on customer feedback, production needs, and cost-saving opportunities. Be a Problem Solver: Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Champion Customer Needs: Evaluate and provide solutions for unique customer requests, acting as a technical liaison to ensure their needs are met. Think Globally: Collaborate with other Danfoss manufacturing facilities worldwide to support product localization efforts. Guarantee Quality: Validate design changes before implementation, guaranteeing seamless integration into production processes. Background & Skills A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably NX. Familiarity with PLM tools, ideally Siemens Teamcenter. A solid understanding of the interface between mechanics and electronics. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and ideally VBA scripting. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Bonus points for:

Experience with structural calculations and simulations. Experience with environmental testing and data analysis. Familiarity with SAP. Team coordination experience. Given this we can discuss options for this role to include team coordination responsibilities also. Who you are
