Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mechanical Engineer (Saudi National) to join our team! In this role you will be exercising technical expertise in the MEP construction and engineering field, within major construction projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

Deliverables related to Building MEP layouts, Utility layouts etc.

Layouts and details of the HVAC, potable water, sewer and firefighting systems

HVAC system and its components design reviews

Firefighting and potable water system and its components design reviews

Layouts and Details of the Potable water, Fire Water and Strom water pump stations elements including the pumps, pipes, valves and fittings etc.

Pump selection, Chiller selection and pipe sizing for all disciplines

Assists in determining the scope of procurement work, schedules, and budgets for assigned project buyouts, monitoring progress to maintain those procurements.

Interfaces with procurement and subcontract personnel to facilitate the bid process.

Coordinates the utilization of interdisciplinary technical personnel on the project with other Project Engineers.

Coordinates the assignment of personnel from other technical support groups within the company.

Assists the Project Manager in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project or study. Assists in determining the technical skills and staff hours required for the successful completion of the project.

Ensures client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplines. Expedites distribution of action items following discussions/meetings with the client and Project Manager.

Prepares technical reports and documentation of activity for the client and project management.

Obtains, analyzes and circulates technical and contractual information to project disciplines.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from recognized university.

2+ years of directly related experience in heavy industrial systems mechanical design (Experience may include HVAC, Piping, Plumbing, ventilation systems).

Knowledge of design and installation of mechanical systems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is must.
