Job Description Insight Global is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer specializing in structures, with over 5 years of experience in designing and developing vehicle chassis systems, particularly for tracked vehicles. The ideal candidate will be proficient in concept development, prototype fabrication, and testing, with a strong understanding of system-level requirements and vehicle chassis structural analysis. Skills and Requirements - Ability to obtain security clearance - Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering - 5+ years of experience with vehicle chassis system design - Experience designing and developing tracked vehicle structures (Concept development through prototype fabrication, and test) - Development of combat vehicle chassis structure and mechanical components - Ability to work within CAD based design systems - Understanding of vehicle chassis level structural analysis - Coordinate and review subsystem/component performance analysis (structural integrity/structural response) - Manage design and development of structure subsystems (Ramps, hatches, access panels) - Prepare and present design development status to management and customers - Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI clearance - Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering Techniques - Experience developing tracked combat vehicle structures (survivability/manufacturability) null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
